Last year forty ACCESS members and guests enjoyed a wonderful luncheon cruise aboard the Nautica Queen. Now by popular demand the ACCESS-Retired Committee has planned this year’s cruise for Saturday, June 25, 2011. Reduced ticket price is $15.00 for each ACCESS member or retiree and one guest. The ticket price for additional guests is the un-reduced price of $25.50. Please return the attached reservation form and your check to “ACCESS” by Monday, June 20.
All ACCESS retirees, current staff members, family and friends are invited. Last year was a bit cool and misty in early May. This year we expect great weather for a fantastic buffet luncheon and lake/river cruise.
Boarding will begin at 10:00 AM with the cruise and luncheon beginning at 11:00 AM. The Nautica Queen is well known for a great buffet. The boat will return to dock at 1:00 PM. Parking is at the Nautica Entertainment Complex on the West Bank of the Flats.
After the cruise, the celebration will continue at Shooters on the Water just a short way down the Boardwalk.

The 2011 Luncheon Cruise will be the fifth annual retirement recognition that ACCESS has held. The first two dinners were held at the Independence Holiday Inn. The last two were on the Nautica Queen. To see pictures from these events, click on the “Retired” menu item at the left.
ACCESS Retirement Luncheon Cruise Aboard the Nautica Queen, June 25, 2011
Thirty-five ACCESS members and guests enjoyed a beautiful lake cruise and buffet luncheon aboard the Nautica Queen on Saturday, June 25, 2011. Congratulations to Arna Stennett one of our newly retiring members who was able to attend for a total of twenty-two retirees. Seven of our active members and six guests rounded out the group. This was the third year for the luncheon cruise on the Nautica Queen.
Members began arriving at the Nautica dock at 10:00 AM to pick up their boarding passes. A great time was had catching up with each other. The cruise along the break wall and luncheon began at 11:00 AM and lasted a quick two hours. The Nautica Queen is well known for a great buffet and the food did not disappoint. After the cruise, many members gathered at Shooters on the Water, just down the boardwalk.
Ticket prices were reduced to $15.00 this year due to the successful Wing Night fundraiser at the Blue Moose Saloon back in February. The Nautica Queen reduced the regular $28.00 price to $25.50 for the retiree group. The new Retirement Fund created with the fundraiser covered the difference and mailing costs. More events are being planned.
